I would like to have faith in the American people but the mid-terms results were half-hearted and the 2020 race leaves me perplex so I’m not sanguine about the outcome, Marley K.
My gut feeling is that white privilege, capitalism, individualism, gerrymandering, and an obsolete voting system will re-install Trump at the helm for another 4 years.
And try as I might, I can’t shake it off because I yet have to find evidence supporting the impossibility of his re-election.
All I can promise you is that I will vote wherever I might be, and that I’ll get involved in campaigning once the Democrats have nominated their candidate. The likelihood of my location in 2020 being America is decreasing by the day, however.
As for the tanks on DC today, this is France’s bad I’m afraid: the 2017 Bastille Day parade gave him the idea. If there was a textbook case for ever regretting inviting anyone round to your place, this is it.
