What resonates most with me is the work of those who aren’t in it to win it but instead to make the world a better, more tolerant place by getting people to think. And the work of those who make art that pays tribute to our shared humanness, i.e. the poets.
Sure, catering to echo chambers pays handsomely but the cost to society is way too high. Look at the political situation in the US and the UK and weep hot tears of frustration. Having MSM fail us doesn’t mean we have to fail one another, too.
